Voyager Electronic Payments
 
Yardi Electronic Payments offers a one-step solution to process various types of electronic payments, including check receipts, credit card receipts, and direct payments from residents. Payments are directly transferred from tenants' bank accounts into your account, and the program automatically updates tenant records. Simply scan your tenants' checks or credit cards, or set up recurring ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment transactions for your tenants' lease charges, and the automation begins. Avoid bank lines and simplify operations. With Yardi Electronic Payments, funds get put into your account quickly and you benefit from the time you save in processing.

Quickly and efficiently receipt resident checks using a MAGTEK Reader with Yardi Voyager. The MAGTEK Reader scans MICR characters from checks then passes the relevant information on to your program.

In addition, once the MAGTEK Reader scans the check, Yardi Voyager creates an image of the scanned check and saves it in your database.

 

Each time you scan a credit card, the system automatically records its magnetic strip data, then locates the appropriate tenant record and displays open charges.

If a tenant uses an unrecognized credit card or check, the system allows you to select the tenant on the fly and apply the new information to the appropriate source.

Card transactions are processed electronically using a secure Internet connection when the receipts get posted.

 

ACH, also referred to as direct payment, works by electronically debiting the resident's checking or savings account on the day a payment is due and transferring funds into your company's bank account.

Direct payment can be used by tenants or residents for lease charges, utilities, insurance premiums, investments, and many other types of payments. In addition, with direct payment, bills are never paid late, eliminating late payment fees and finance charges.
