SANTA BARBARA, Calif., April 27, 2016 — Yardi Systems and founder Anant Yardi are being honored by the business community of California’s Central Coast.

On Thursday, April 21, California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) hosted the 12th Business & Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner. Yardi Founder and President Anant Yardi accepted the Business Leader of the Year award on behalf of the company. The annual event honors local businesses, technology, CSUCI faculty leaders, and outstanding CSUCI students.

Mr. Yardi is also being recognized for his business and technology leadership by the Pacific Coast Business Times (PCBT), which will induct him into their Business Hall of Fame on May 12. Mr. Yardi will be the 15th member of this exclusive group, in recognition of his longstanding contributions to the software industry and his leadership of Yardi Systems. Over the past 32 years, the company has grown from a small business in Santa Barbara to a global enterprise with 34 offices and over 4,800 employees worldwide.

The PCBT, an award-winning business journal, published a profile of Yardi on April 22 as part of their 101 One Hundred/Hall of Fame special report.

Mr. Yardi is quick to attribute his company’s success to his employees. “These awards are a great reflection of the consistent hard work and quality of our employees. It’s an honor to share this award with them and to be acknowledged by our community,” he said.
