Steward of national park in San Francisco also licenses solutions for mobile maintenance, inspections, and inventory and asset management
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Oct. 17, 2013 – Yardi announced today that the Presidio Trust, a federal agency created to save the Presidio of San Francisco and transform it for a new national purpose, has selected Yardi Voyager® as its new property management and accounting platform.
Yardi Voyager will help the Presidio Trust manage finances, assets, and maintenance for the 1,200 housing units in 21 distinct Presidio neighborhoods. The Presidio Trust will also use Yardi Voyager to administrate leases for 225 commercial organizations including a hotel, schools, restaurants and a variety of businesses.
Seeking to upgrade service to residents and tenants across the 1,500-acre Presidio, the Presidio Trust licensed additional products that together form a comprehensive maintenance solution with automated maintenance workflows and mobile access to Yardi Voyager. These products include Yardi Inventory Control™, which provides total physical and financial control over assets, from acquisition to disposition; Yardi Fixed Assets™, which automates the acquisition, tracking, depreciation and disposition of fixed assets; Yardi Inspection™, which the Presidio Trust will use to set up, schedule and perform asset and property inspections; and Yardi Maintenance Mobile™, which allows technicians in the field to create, update and close work orders from a mobile device, with results automatically updated in Yardi Voyager.
“As of fiscal year 2013, the Presidio Trust now manages the Presidio without federal funds,” said Carla Armstrong, deputy chief financial officer for the Presidio Trust. “We pride ourselves on the careful management of the park’s finances. Implementing Voyager to capture our real estate assets as well as our income and accounting in an integrated system will improve service to our tenants and residents and allow us to better oversee the Presidio.”
“Yardi is delighted to provide the most advanced property management technology, including mobile applications, to support the Presidio Trust’s work to preserve the unique historic resources of the Presidio, and transform it into a vibrant residential, commercial and recreational space,” said Dan Campbell, vice president of government services for Yardi.
