New York City, December 7, 2009 — The editors of Commercial Property Executive and Multi-Housing News announce with great excitement the return of both brands to the real estate market.
The longstanding real estate information resources will resume publication of their print editions on a monthly basis beginning with their February 2010 issues. In addition, both Web sites will return with daily news analysis and other multimedia features, accompanied by e-newsletters.
Along with editors-in-chief Suzann Silverman on CPE and Diana Mosher on MHN, returning staff members include MHN associate publisher Natasha Selhi, CPE national sales director Jason Wafalosky, and editors Keat Foong, Erika Schnitzer and Anu Kher, along with art director Michelle Matteson.
The relaunch was made possible through an acquisition by Yardi Systems Inc., which recognized the value of having multiple in-depth, objective sources of information and analysis for the commercial and multi-family real estate industries and believed these brands should remain viable contributors.
“Commercial Property Executive and its predecessors have long contributed important analysis of news, trends and events to the industry. We are overjoyed that we can continue to provide this service,” said CPE editor-in-chief Suzann Silverman, who joined predecessor Commercial Property News in 1995 and has led the brand in her current role since 1998.
“We’re very pleased to be back,” said Diana Mosher, who joined Multi-Housing News as editor-in-chief four years ago. “We look forward to continuing MHN’s editorial mission through in-depth economic forecasts and market reports, exclusive interviews with thought leaders and forward-looking analysis of the trends driving renter preferences.”
MHN has been reporting on all aspects of the multi-family real estate sector since 1966, providing members of the multi-family community with critical information to grow their businesses and maintain a competitive edge. CPE was launched as Real Estate Times in 1987 and known through most of its existence as Commercial Property News. It was rebranded as Commercial Property Executive in June 2009, with a focus on providing commercial real estate executives across the major property areas and business sectors with news and trend analysis, real estate and economic data, and an inside look into executive success stories.
