Yardi online learning module adds technology that tracks users’ online training process and performance
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 14, 2017 – Yardi® eLearning now supports third-party online training courses built on xAPI technology. xAPI gives training managers the ability to track how users experience online instruction. Trainers can use the data to edit course content and configure learning plans to improve employee performance.
xAPI collects background data as users navigate through online courses. A recent update to Yardi eLearning enables the online learning management system to compile the xAPI data. Metrics include how long students stay on a page, which links were clicked, which topics were referred to more than once, the type of devices learners used to access content and more.
Becky Sanvictores, vice president of client services for Yardi, described how xAPI adds value to the Yardi eLearning product. “Yardi eLearning now supports the most feature-rich content available on the market. Our clients who have purchased advanced learning materials can now maximize return on their training material investment, without any changes necessary to their Yardi eLearning platform,” said Sanvictores.
