Centershift Announces Store EndeavorTM, a New Product Suite Designed for Large Operators
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Salt Lake City based Centershift, Inc. today announced the launch of a new product suite, Store Endeavor (‘Endeavor’). Endeavor is a bundled product that encompasses the entire suite of Centershift’s award winning technologies and services
that allow large operators total control over their operational management system. Store Endeavor is a turnkey packaging of hardware, database, hosting environment, source code, documentation, and professional consulting services that allow an operator to bring their operational management system completely “in house.”
Centershift acknowledges that it has entered into an agreement to sell a full instance of Store Endeavor to Extra Space Management, Inc. “Extra Space is always looking to push the envelope from both an operational and technological standpoint, and having absolute control of the most mission critical system in their organization was the next logical step for them,” saidMark Smith, Centershift Vice President of Product Management. “They now have the ability to fully leverage the Store 4 platform according to their own strategic directions and in their own timeframe.”
“It has been no secret that one of the primary keys to our success in the industry has been our technology platform,” said Clint Halverson, Vice President Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. “We have always been a big advocate of Centershift’s Store platform, but our growth has mandated that we take the next step and fully embed the Store platform into our organization. We are excited about the opportunities that will arise from more seamless integration of all our internal systems.”
“We are pleased that the basic model we introduced to the self storage industry 12 years ago has been validated by the industry’s technology leader,” said Mr. Smith. “We expect to be able to devote even more resources to the interests of our other medium and large clients in the immediate future.”
Although an exact timeframe has yet to be set, Centershift expects Extra Space to have full adoption of Endeavor by early 2014.
