Colorado-based real estate asset manager adds solutions for budgeting and tenant services to its new core platform.
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Nov. 17, 2015 – Griffis/Blessing Inc. enhanced its ability to provide online client service and improve operations by adopting Yardi Voyager® 7S as its new property management and accounting system. The real estate services firm also extended the fully mobile Yardi Voyager platform with additional Yardi® solutions for maintenance, online tenant service and budgeting.
Yardi Voyager will allow Griffis/Blessing to streamline its common area maintenance reconciliations, which previously required multiple systems and manual data entry. “Going to full automation will drastically cut the time required and improve the reports’ accuracy,” said David C. Bunkers, chief financial officer and senior vice president of financial services for Griffis/Blessing.
Yardi Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting™, a solution built into the Yardi Voyager platform that uses Voyager tenant lease data to automate budgeting, forecasting, valuations and modeling, will save labor and reduce errors in Griffis/Blessing’s budgeting process. “Instead of doing up to 100 budgets in several applications, we’ll save a lot of time doing them completely within Voyager,” Bunkers said.
Along with managing more than 100 office, industrial and retail properties, Griffis/Blessing provides maintenance services for other properties. Yardi Maintenance Mobile™ will deliver new flexibility and efficiency by allowing technicians to manage work orders from mobile devices, with results automatically updated in Yardi Voyager. “Entering work order information in the field, without having to return to the office or log in to a separate system, will produce huge efficiency and accuracy savings,” Bunkers said.
Griffis/Blessing will upgrade tenant service with COMMERCIALCafé™, which allows online maintenance requests to be submitted by tenants and monitored from desktops or mobile devices.
