SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., April 06, 2011 – Yardi announced today that senior housing community owner and operator Pacific Arbour Retirement Communities will use Yardi Voyager™ Senior Housing to manage its portfolio.
Pacific Arbour recently doubled its portfolio of retirement communities. As the company weighed additional expansion opportunities, it sought a new technology platform that could scale to any degree of growth. Company executives also concluded that Pacific Arbour would operate more efficiently by executing property management, accounting, care management, clinical assessments, billing and marketing operations from a single, fully integrated platform.
“With our previous system we consolidated four different accounting, customer relationship management and property management systems every month. We concluded that our ability to grow would be hindered if we didn’t eliminate multiple data entry and other inefficiencies that result from tying together so many separate systems,” said Peter Gaskill, president of Pacific Arbour.
“During our selection process we learned that Yardi Voyager Senior Housing is the only platform that’s built around the senior housing business. Everything we need is right out of the box, requiring very little customization. Adopting Voyager removes the risk inherent in changing accounting systems,” Gaskill said.
Gaskill added, “The reports we receive from the job costing module look fantastic. We now have a great tool for managing the development of our new properties that is part of our Voyager platform.”
Yardi Cloud Services™ will provide hosting services to Pacific Arbour. With Yardi Cloud Services, Yardi serves and maintains the Voyager application and database for Pacific Arbour from its data center. By providing this service, Yardi assumes responsibility for all application updates, network security, hardware, bandwidth and infrastructure, allowing Pacific Arbour to focus on its principal business.
