SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Oct. 30, 2023 — Yardi® today announced RentCafe APIv2 to further strengthen the real estate marketing ecosystem.
RentCafe APIv2 offers the following improvements:
- Functionality to schedule virtual, guided and self-guided tours
- A dedicated vendor sandbox for testing
- Dedicated number of support hours to ensure Yardi is appropriately staffed to assist each vendor
- Enhanced security
- Increased support to student housing vendors
“With the increasing number of vendors and complexity of integrations, API support will transition to our interfaces team so that we can provide high-quality, dedicated support to vendors and clients,” said Arjun Rao, senior director at Yardi.
RentCafe APIv2 will keep the current transaction-based pricing but will add a new annual price cap in line with other Yardi APIs. This price adjustment provides a cap on costs for vendors who utilize the API extensively and helps mitigate costs for smaller vendors who will pay less due to minimal API utilization.
The new fee structure allows Yardi to staff sufficient support and assist vendors and clients in a timely and high-quality manner. The drop date to transition to RentCafe APIv2 will occur on Dec. 31, 2023.
“We are working with vendors and clients to ensure transitions occur smoothly. We will not discontinue APIs for vendors who miss the drop date,” Rao commented.
