More than a hundred classes will reflect newly mandated affordable housing and PHA processes
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb. 14, 2024 – Yardi Aspire® users now have access to online training courses that are tailored for compliance with HOTMA.
HOTMA is an acronym for the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act. Under HOTMA, affordable housing providers and Public Housing Agencies (PHA) must adjust the way they qualify households for housing assistance. Staff training is critical to successfully implementing HOTMA compliance changes.
Yardi Aspire administrators are updating affordable housing and PHA courses to teach users how to perform processes that have been changed by HOTMA.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires implementation of HOTMA standards to be completed during the 2024 calendar year. Yardi® officials describe the new training content as “just-in-time” assistance that sets its learning management solution apart in the affordable housing and PHA staff development industry.
