Yardi is in the process of expanding Voyager to include the Swedish SIE and the Portuguese SAF-T (Standard Audit File) reporting formats which will be assessed for SAF-T certification by the Portuguese authorities. The SAF-T is designed to give auditors access to data in an easily readable format and is based on entries found in a General Ledger Chart of Accounts and include master file data for customers and suppliers, and details of invoices, orders, payments and adjustments. The SIE format is a Swedish open standard for transferring accounting data between various software solutions produced by different software suppliers, where for example, they are used to transfer data between a company and their accountant. The SIE has four different format types: year-end balance, period balance, profit centre and transactions. They cover almost 100% of the Swedish bookkeeping, financial reporting and tax administration software market. The necessity to develop a standard format which everyone can use has come about as auditors are faced with increasing challenges caused by the fast development in technology and the large number of operating systems, data formats, and backup and file retention options that are available. By including standard reporting formats in Voyager it will become even easier to comply with back office due diligence and reporting requirements. In time it is Yardiโs intention to support each of the European and International standards for data transfer that are recognised and are used across the industry. About Yardi Yardi Systems has been committed to the design, development and support of real estate investment management and property management software for more than 28 years.
