Company contributes top-level event sponsorship, holds sustainability education sessions and co-hosts social event
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 22, 2017 – Yardi will play a prominent role at one of the commercial real estate industry’s major events, the 2017 BOMA International Annual Conference & Expo, June 24-27 in Nashville, Tenn.
In addition to being a premier sponsor of the event and a Technology Pavilion exhibitor (Booth #302), on June 27 Yardi will host an education session, “Improve Property Performance and Satisfy ENERGY STAR® Using New Technology.” Matt Eggers, vice president of Yardi Energy, will moderate as Dave Pogue from CBRE and Julie Hughes with the Institute for Market Transformation examine ENERGY STAR’s impact, describe new tools for measuring, monitoring and improving energy performance, and offer insight into benefiting from ENERGY STAR best practices.
The same day, Yardi is also sponsoring 90-minute focus groups on managing building energy use and evaluating facilities maintenance software.
These educational sessions reflect the conference and expo’s focus on sustainable best practices and technology trends. “Sustainability is increasingly important to everybody with a stake in commercial properties, including regulators, local governments, tenants and investors.
