Innovation award recognizes solutions that help commercial property managers obtain energy and control its consumption
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 20, 2016 – Building automation software and energy procurement services from Yardi® give commercial property managers new opportunities to lower energy costs and meet sustainability benchmarks. The National Real Estate Investor and Information Management Network recently recognized Yardi for its energy suite, naming the company an NREI/IMN 2016 Commercial Real Estate Award winner.
NREI and IMN honored outstanding achievements by real estate organizations over the past 12 months for innovation, disruption, social responsibility and outstanding service. Yardi won the award for Technology Provider: Innovation—Facilities & Property Management.
The award recognizes how the Yardi® Smart Energy Suite helps building owners obtain reliable energy at competitive prices, monitor usage and costs, leverage meaningful analytics and maximize energy efficiency while increasing occupant comfort.
“The awards program recognizes and honors forward-thinking organizations that support real estate investor success—and exemplify the highest degree of business excellence in the commercial real estate industry,” David Bodamer, NREI’s executive director of content and user engagement, said in announcing the awards.
“Yardi appreciates this recognition from NREI and IMN. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to show how property stakeholders—investors, owners, operators and tenants—can increase asset value by controlling the procurement, consumption and measurement of energy,” said Matt Eggers, vice president of energy management for Yardi.
